I am a qualified Dyslexia and Primary school teacher with 20 years experience. I endeavour to make my lessons as interactive as possible with lessons conducted at the pace and level the student feels comfortable with. I tailor lessons to the different learning styles of each pupil. I gained my Diploma in Teaching Students with Dyslexia 18 years ago. I was then team Leader for Dyslexia at K College (then West Kent College) for 14 years, organising support for students; organising staffing; preparing and running courses for Dyslexics of all ages, teachers, TAs and parents.

I left K college 2.5 years ago and since then have been doing private tutoring and talks on dyslexia related difficulties to parents and trainee teachers.

Philippa qualified with an RSA Diploma SpLD (dyslexia) at the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre in 1991, having become a certified Speech and Language Therapist in 1990, following a four year course.
